moderate...mit is close by so is BC and northeasetern...if u know some one in bu it generally helps getting to parties .....theres a street call ashford and its just one big party there on the weekends and Thursdays and Fridays....if u want to be a gay frat dude head over to the bay state area and ull find a number of frat parties Advertisement
Academics
The reason I chose bu was that it has a very good international presence even though the bu rank is underrated. Im an smg business major and I can guarantee that we learn more about business in the first year than any other school in its league. The program has a very hands on approach and empowers creativity and leadership skills as soon as we start the business program. This is amazing school as far as academics are concerned. The work load is a lot to handle. Professors are amazing in the business school, the general quality of the education is way higher than that of the rankings- a student gets an overall education just than a major and bu does an amazing job at giving the students what they pay for. Courses are interesting and all the professors I've had are really good some less interesting but all you could get help from ...the TA's play a vital role.

Student Body
there are a lot of clubs (bu has a people watching club- how creepy is that)and bu in general is open to the whole club stuff if ur into that kind of stuff lol...BU hockey is like the mother of all sports there and they hate the bc hockey team which suck pretty bad, theres quite a bit of activity around campus, chilling on the bu beach, rock climbing at the gym and all the other stuff in between,

In Closing...
bu deserves a higher rating for academics reputation and ease of getting in...all school are hard to get in other than cgs...smg is virtually impossible to get in to if u dnt have something that clearly stands out and by that i mean more than daddys big portfolio
